Initial Review:
We review the business plan, executive summary and presentations, assessing it against our investment criteria to establish our level of interest. Plans are classified at this stage as either a "pass" or a "pursue".

Meet with Management:
A more in-depth review of the business plan and financials are done prior to organizing a meeting with management. Part of this step usually includes a tour of the facility.
At this point, we determine if the investment qualifies and if Dancap will pursue the opportunity.

Term Sheet:
A conditional letter of intent is drafted, outlining the negotiated pricing, structure and form of the investment. The conditions of financing are usually satisfied by the "Due Diligence" step and the subsequent "Legal Review".

Due Diligence:
Our due diligence process involves an in-depth review of finances, operations, product/services, market, management and competition. In some cases, we hire experts to provide additional insight and verification. The cost of this step is absorbed by the investee company.

Legal Review:
Upon the satisfactory completion of due diligence, the legal review and documentation begins. Once the legal review is completed the company is funded.
